It’s a feeling I know all too well…
That gut-busting moment that usually occurs to me at airports, when I’m totally stoked about an upcoming trip. I’m through the security check, got my shoes back on, walked all the way down to the gate, and then, as I’m rifling through my makeup bag, I realize, “Crap! I don’t have my [INSERT YOUR CAN’T-LIVE-WITHOUT-IT makeup item HERE].”

When it comes to application, I find that using a light touch seems to help. If I go overboard, with either the individual shades or the mix, the powders appear to exaggerate the size of my pores and emphasize my fine lines (boo).
I get a kick out of travel exclusives, especially ones that are hard-to-find. rose Gold is neither one of the rarest nor most unusual travel pieces I’ve seen, but if you find yourself at an airport on your way to someplace warm, as a shimmery warm, pinkish peach highlighter, rose Gold should go terrific with a vacation tan.

Tuesday was gather night at the Novato farmers’ market
I wasn’t in the mood to prep dinner last night and was in the mood for fruit! — so El Hub and I stopped by our local farmers’ market.
It’s a pretty small one, because Novato isn’t a big town, but there are about a dozen different fruit stands and booths hosted by local restaurants. We usually get something for dinner from the Thai food stand, but I wished to try something different, so I opted for a swordfish gyro.
Meh. ‘Twas a’ight. The bread didn’t seem too fresh, and it barely had any swordfish…but I’ve had worse. It wasn’t bad.
I think from this point out, though, I’ll stay with the Thai place.
After dinner, I spotted a stand with some Rainier cherries (FUN FACT: Rainier cherries were established in 1952 at Washington specify university by Harold Fogle. They’re a cross between the Bing and Van cultivars.), so I snagged a pound of those and a handful of Bings.
Of course, I also had to grab some apricots, peaches and nectarines…
And for dessert, a miniature ginger and macaroon cake from a local bakery called flourChylde (what a terrific name!).
